evade all other enemies and use a potion if you take damage. IF YOU CAN'T FIND HIM, TRIGGER A PLAYER DISCOVERED BY AN ENEMY AND HE WILL SHOW UP TO FIGHT IF CLOSE BY. Follow the trail that shows no enemy creating it and hopefully jump down on him and get an assassination. Use Shadow Vision to locate him by the fact he will have no target marker yellow triangle OR a white outline in Shadow Vision. Sometimes he is not right there with them and is instead on the ground below. jump to the opposite side platform at the bottom of the level and kill those ninjas too to try to locate him. One solo ninja means he is not on that side. Sometimes if you stealth kill one ninja and trigger a second assasination with Momentum you will catch him up in it! If you see 3 there is a chance one of them is actually Tsubuyaku but the same rules apply to locating him. On either the left or right side of the level there will be 1-3 invisable ninjas. Head to the bottom of the map near the door, to the top ledges you first jumped up to when the fight started, right around where you walked in to the ruins. Repeatedly tapping X in front of him should do the ledge kill even if he seems to know where you are! Using the *Wraith Skill* will make sure he does if you have trouble. However, assasinating him is still the preferred method here.Īdditionally you can abuse the game mechanic of hanging off a ledge in front of him while he runs back and forth and tries to backhand you off where your'e hanging from until he "forgets" you are there according to the game and you can hit X and assasinate him. It will one-shot him if you are locked on and he will disappear while talking some smack.Įxplosive Kunai now and you have enough to take him out with these alone if you max them out at the Blacksmith's Shop. SELECT THE EXPLOSIVE KUNAI AND THROW IT AT TSUBUYAKU If you alert him and he comes over to fight, here is the method. If you do it will be very damaging to you and is far more likely to result in you having to use up a life. You cannot win in a toe-to-toe fight with him, striking and blocking. This is not fool-proof, however he moves around alot and will attack savagely if he sees you.
This is the preferred method and is best accomplished by jumping down on him from above or hanging from the ledges on either side of the level over the water, then climbing up when he isn't looking. You only have the option to kill (X button) in a sneak attack for him, there will be no option to stun, as pointed out in other comments/guides for dealing with Tsukuryu. You can tell it is him sometimes though in normal bacuse you can see his long hair if you're close enough. Instead you will only be able to see the path he has just walked in Shadow Vision or a transleucent outline of him in normal vision. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE TSUBUYAKU IN SHADOW VISION LIKE YOU CAN A NORMAL ENEMY He will be invisable and accompanied by 2-3 other invisable ninjas who you will be able to see clearly in Shadow Vision. It is always best to approach the top of the level on either of the far sides using the ledges and Shadow Leap Here is where you can damage him the first of three times. When the fight starts and you regain control of Aragami, jump up and left and shadow leap up onto the highest ledge before shadow leaping/jumping/climbing your way back up to the throne area. If not, watch it because it's pretty cool. Start the mission Tsubuyaku and get to the fight area, then skip the cutscene if you've done this already.

I did not upgrade this to the second level because I didn't like the idea of it predicting the future path of the enemy and muddying the waters so I just took the base ability in the Skill TreeĪdditionaly I would take the *Momentum Skill* base skill and the *Pure Soul Skill* and it's upgrade. This makes it much easier to find the final boss as he hides from you. The Explosive Kunai are your number one priority and the health potions will be for if you get damaged by the boss or any of the many strong enemies accompanying him.Īlso take the *Divinity skill *that augments your Shadow Vision to show where the enemy has just walked.
